Panel Presentations will take place March 16th – March 26th
Objective: Each panel of students will present BOTH sides of an important issue to the class. The main objective of the panel is to INFORM and DISCUSS.
Panel: Each panel will be composed of four students. Students may select their own panel members. Since all panel members will share the same grade for each assignment, do not place yourself in a group with someone who goofs off and/or sits back and lets everyone else do all of the work.
Presentation Length: Each presentation will last 15-20 minutes (excluding the question/answer period).
Topic: Panels will select their own topics and submit them for teacher approval. No panel may duplicate a topic. Topics should be controversial, scholarly, appropriate for presentation in an AP class, and narrowed sufficiently in order to provide depth during the presentation. Research the topic first to make sure there is sufficient information on both sides of your issue before selecting it.
