Late Work
Papers will be accepted late but 20 points will be deducted for each day the paper is late. If you are absent on the day that an assignment is due, e-mail the paper to me or it will be counted as late (even for excused absences). Daily assignments will not be accepted late and a zero will be given. (See the “FREEBIE” handout for additional information.)
Make-Up Work
If you miss a quiz, timed-writing, or test, it is your responsibility to see me to make it up the following morning. Because I will generally discuss Monday’s timed writings the following day, you will not be able to make-up a timed writing after Tuesday. I am available for make up work any morning before school (7:15). You do not need to make an appointment to make up work; just report to my classroom.
