Don’t forget to write your letter to your classmates

Posted in General on 08.01.09

Although letters are due next Friday, I will take them and duplicate them for students as soon as you complete it. I am attaching the assignment and my letter below for those of you who have forgotten what to do. Remember to attach a photo to the letter so we can learn names. Submit your letter to Turnitin.com. You do not need to give me a copy in class. I'll print them from Turnitin.com. Thanks!

Welcome to AP English Language and Composition

Posted in General on 04.01.09

I am looking forward to meeting all of you!  I hope you will enjoy
the course as you also improve your reading and writing skills
throughout the semester. While AP English requires a great deal of
work, after you have completed the course, you will be well prepared
for the AP exam in May as well as for college English. In fact, 83% of
the 118 students who took the AP English Language exam last year made a
3 or higher on the AP exam. For many colleges this score is high enough
to exempt the first college English class!
